1. T-joint converging drain pipes
NOTICE:
 Drain piping connections. Do not connect the drain piping
directly to sewage pipes that smell of ammonia. The
ammonia in the sewage might enter the indoor unit through
the drain pipes and corrode the heat exchanger.
 The drain hose should not be curved or screwed. The curved
or screwed hose may cause water leakage.

6.4 Testing of Drain Piping

After the piping work is fi nished, check if drainage fl ows smoothy.
 Add approximately 1L of water gradually through the air discharge outlet.
Method of adding water is shown below in figure 17.

1. Plastic watering can (tube should be about 10cm/3.9in long)

 When electric wiring work is finished, check drainage flow during COOL
operation, explained in "Test Operation" in Section 13.
