3. Remove the lock nuts from the top and center of the
right side Recycler baffle (Fig. 2).
4. Lower the right side Recycler baffle and slide it out of
discharge opening to remove it (Fig. 2).
Remarque : Only the right side Recycler baffle needs be
removed for side discharge mowing.
5. Install the previously removed bolts (5/16 x 5/8 inch)
and locknuts (5/16 inch) in the open holes of the mower
for safety (Fig. 2).

Attention
Open holes in the mower expose you and others to
thrown debris which can cause severe injury.
• Never operate the mower without hardware
mounted in all holes in the mower housing.
• Install the hardware in the mounting holes when
you remove the recycling baffle.
6. Replace the front baffle and secure it to the deck
(Fig. 1) using the hardware removed previously.
Important
DO NOT operate the machine without the
front baffle in place (Fig. 1).
Installing the Recycler
Install the right side baffle to convert from side discharge
mode to mulching.
1. Thoroughly clean the mower.
2. Remove the carriage bolts and locknuts securing the
front baffle to the deck (Fig. 1). Remove the baffle to
install the right side Recycler baffle.

Important
DO NOT operate the machine without the
front blow out baffle in place (Fig. 1).
3. Remove the bolts and nuts in the holes needed for the
baffle (Fig. 2).
4. Install the right side Recycler baffle by sliding it into
the discharge opening (Fig. 2).
5. Secure the baffle with the nuts and bolts (Fig. 2).
6. Replace the front baffle and secure it to the deck
(Fig. 1) using the hardware removed previously.
Attention
Operating the mower without the front baffle in
place, can expose you and others to blade contact
and thrown debris. Contact with rotating mower
blade(s) and thrown debris will cause serious
injury.
• Never operate the mower without the front
baffle installed.

a genuine Toro part. The logo, depicted below, appears on
genuine Toro cutting blades.
