7-2. Steps to take in an emergency
Lower the spare tire completely

to the ground.
For vehicles with the padlock at type B position (→P. 458), remove

the padlock.
Remove the holding bracket

and pull out the spare tire.
If it is difficult to pull the tire away
from the vehicle, hold the tire and
move it away from the flat tire, as
shown in the illustration.
