Replacing the SAS backplane
Ê Unlock all hard disk modules and pull them a few centimeters out toward the
front.

Ê Press on the tin clip marked blue (1) and hold it down while you push the
SAS backplane to the left (seen from the back of the server) as far as it will
go.

CAUTION!
Do not pull on the two SAS plugs as you might damage them! Use the
light-colored plug (POWER).
Ê Using the straps marked blue (2), pull the SAS backplane evenly toward the
back of the server until the eight metal lugs (A) no longer project into the SAS
backplane.
Ê Lift the SAS backplane carefully out of the housing (3) - using the straps
marked blue if necessary.
