Troubleshooting
Problem
I hear other calls
when using the
telephone.
The CHARGE light
is off.
Registration failed
appears on the
handset display.
Suggeston
• Dsconnect the telephone base from the telephone jack. Plug n a dfferent telephone. If you stll
hear other calls, the problem s probably n the wrng or local servce. Call your local telephone
company.
• Clean the chargng contacts on the cordless handset(s) and telephone base each month usng a
pencl eraser or a dry non-abrasve fabrc.
• Make sure the power adapter and telephone lne cords are plugged n correctly and securely.
• Unplug the power adapter. Wat for 15 seconds before pluggng t back n. Allow up to one mnute
for the cordless handset and telephone base to reset.
• The telephone mght be malfunctonng. Please refer to the Warranty secton of ths user's
manual for further nstructon (page 115).
• Only one handset can be regstered at a tme. If you have multple handsets to regster, please
follow the step on page 7 for the first handset. Once a handset has been successfully registered,
repeat the steps for each handset that needs to be regstered.
• Make sure that the telephone base and handset(s) are n dle mode when regsterng a handset
(page 7).
• Follow the steps on page 113 for the common cure for electronc equpment, then try agan to
regster a handset.
