    Getting started Parts checklist Your telephone contains the following items. Save your sales receipt and original packaging in the event warranty service is necessary. Battery compartment cover Handset To purchase a replacement battery or a power adapter, visit our website at www.vtechphones.com or call 1 (800) 595-9511.

    Getting started Battery installation and charging Install the battery as shown below. After installing the battery, you might be able to make and receive short calls. For best performance, charge the handset for at least 16 hours before use. When not in use, place the handset in the telephone base or charger.

    Getting started Add and register a handset Each newly purchased handset (LS6205) must be registered to the telephone base (LS6215 or LS6225) before use. When first purchased, each expansion handset shows NOT REGISTERED. When first purchased, each expansion handset shows NOT REGISTERED.

    Getting started Replace a handset If you want to replace a handset or reassign the designated handset number of a registered handset, you must de-register all the handsets and then individually register each handset. To make de-registration easier, read all of the instructions on this page before you begin.

    Getting started Handset layout CHARGE light On when the handset is charging in the telephone base or charger. / VOLp (Directory) Press to enter the directory when the telephone is not in use. While in a menu, press to scroll up. During a call, press to increase the listening volume.

    Appendix Battery It takes up to 16 hours for the battery to be fully charged. Even so, this handset and telephone base can communicate over only a certain distance - which can vary with the locations of the telephone base and handset, the weather, and the layout of your home or office.
