    Child safety device Make sure that children or pets do not climb into the drum. To prevent children or pets becoming trapped inside the drum the machine incorporates a special feature. To activate this device, rotate the button (without pressing it) inside the door clockwise until the groove is horizontal.

  • Page 11 Display DISPLAY 2.05 (example) Duration of the set programme When you set a programme, the display shows the duration in hours and minutes (for example 2.05). The duration is calculated automatically on the maximum load for each type of fabric. After the programme has started, the time remaining is updated every minute.

    Indicator lights When you set a washing programme, the WASHING light (A) illuminates and stays on. When you set a drying programme, the DRYING light (B) illuminates and stays on during the drying phase. When the appliance performs additional rinses, the EXTRA RINSE pilot light C) is on.     Daily use DAILY USE Load the laundry Open the door by carefully pulling the door handle outwards. Place the laundry in the drum, one item at a time, shaking them out as much as possible. Close the door firmly. You must hear a click during closing.

    Use - Washing and Drying You can set the duration of the drying cycle according to the type of fabric. Press the button 4 button again and again until the time you want appears on the dis- play. For Cottons you can select a drying time from 10 minutes to 250 minutes (hours 4.10).

    Care and cleaning The detergent and any additives must be placed in the appropriate compartments of the dispenser drawer before starting the wash programme. If using liquid detergents, a programme without prewash must be selected. Your appliance incorporates a re-circulation system which allows an optimal use of the concentrated detergent.
  • Page 28 Care and cleaning After each wash Leave the door open for a while. This helps to prevent mould and stagnant smells forming inside the appliance. Keeping the door open after a wash will also help to preserve the door seal. Maintenance wash With the use of low temperature washes it is possible to get a build up of residues inside the drum.

Remove any rust deposits on the drum with a cleaning agent for stainless steel. Run a washing cycle without any washing to clean off any cleaning agent residues. When no more water comes out, un- screw the pump cover by turning it an- ti-clockwise and remove the filter. Use pliers, if necessary. Always keep a rag nearby to dry up any water spillages when removing the cover.

Never remove the pump cover during a wash cycle, always wait until the appliance has fin- ished the cycle, and is empty. When refitting the pump cover, ensure it is securely re-tight- ened so as to stop leaks and young children being able to remove it.

  • Page 38 Installation Remove the power supply cable and the draining hose from the hose holders on the rear of the appliance. Unscrew the three bolts with the key supplied with the appliance. Slide out the relevant plastic spacers.

    Environment concerns In the interest of the environment The appliance should be connected to the FOUL drainage system, the water will then be taken to a sewage works for treatment before being dis- charged safely into a river. It is essential that these appliances are not con- nected to the surface water drainage system as this water is discharged directly into a river or stream and may cause pollution.
