    FRESH AIR COMBUSTION VENTILATION 100100 WARNING ICON G 001 This heater must have fresh air for proper operation. If not, poor fuel combustion could result. Read the following instructions to insure proper fresh air for this and other fuel-burning appliances in your home.

Space: Includes the room in which you will install heater plus any adjoining rooms with doorless passageways or ventilation grills between the rooms.

    INSTALLING TO WALL 100100 A qualified service person must install heater. Follow all local codes. CHECK GAS TYPE Use only propane gas. If your gas supply is not propane, do not install heater. Call dealer where you bought heater for proper type heater. INSTALLATION ITEMS Before installing heater, make sure you have the items listed below.

Remove cardboard packing from grill and glass (VP2000BB) or heat shield (VGP30B).     CONNECTING TO GAS SUPPLY A qualified service person must connect heater to gas supply. Follow all local codes. WARNING ICON Never connect heater directly to the propane supply. This heater requires an external regulator (not supplied). Install the external regulator between the heater and propane supply. The installer must supply an external regulator.

A. This appliance has a pilot which must be lighted by hand. When lighting the pilot, follow these instructions exactly.
