CAUTION
At no time during maintenance or adjustments
should the tractor be lifted more than 20 inches
from a level position without taking the follow-
ing precautions:
1.
Remove the gasoline from the tank and
run the engine until the carburetor is dry.
2. Remove the battery (see REMOVE THE
BATTERY paragraph in this section).
3. Remove the oil from the crankcase.
LUBRICATION
For lubrication frequency see the Maintenance Che1
List. For lubrication points and type of
lubricant see Lubrication Chart.
CHANGE THE ENGINE OIL {Figure 5)
Change the engine (crankcase) oil after the first 5 hou
of operation and every 25 hours thereafter. See tl
Engine Operating and Maintenance manual for rna
information. Check the oil level before each use. Add
as required.

Place a flat bottom, 2 quart container beneath tl
oil drain plug •
NOTE
You
may
need to raise the left side of the tractor
(with blocks under the left wheels) to get proper
drainage.
2. Remove the
011
drain plug to drain the oil.
NOTE
The oil fill cap/dipstick should
be
loosened to serve
as an air vent.
3. Replace the oil drain pkJg.
4. Remove the oil fiD cap/dipstick and refill engi
(crankcase) with oil.

5. Replace the

fill cap/dipstick.
