Test functions and judgement criteria
Checks PITCH.
Carrying out the test produces sine waves (441 +/- 0.2 Hz).

AUX OUT L/L+R:- 60 dBm or less
AUX OUT R:- 5 dBm +/- 2 dB
PHONES L:- 40 dBm or less, PHONES R:- 11 dBm +/- 2 dB

Checks DAC noise.
Checks that there are no DAC noises by playing the keyboard. (Damper ON)
Checks the panel switch, checks LED.
Turns ON in order as listed below. (See Table 1.)
Checks that sounds are produced in regular intervals with the switch ON.
Checks also that LED lights up for a switch provided with LED.
Checks all LEDs on the panel for lighting.
Checks that all LEDs on the panel light up when the test is carried out.
Checks the soft pedal.
Carries out the test and checks that if the soft pedal is turned ON, C3 is produced
and if it is turned OFF, C4 is produced, with PAS displayed on LCD.
Checks the sostenuto pedal.
Carries out the test and checks that if the sostenuto pedal is turned ON, C3 is
produced and if it is turned OFF, C4 is produced, with PAS displayed on LCD.
Checks the damper pedal.
Carries out the test and checks that if the damper pedal is fully stepped down, C3
is produced and if it is returned to a non-stepped state, C4 is produced, with PAS
displayed on LCD.
Checks MIDI IN OUT.
Checks that if the test is carried out with MIDI IN and OUT connected using a
cable, C4 is produced, with PAS displayed on LCD.
Checks TO HOST.
Carries out the test by shorting 1-pin and 2 pin, 3 pin and 5 pin, and 6-pin and
8-pin at TO HOST terminal. If the HOST SELECT switch is changed over
according to LED display, checks that selection of Mac produces C5, selection of
PC-1 produces C3, and selection of PC-2 produces C4 respectively, with PAS
displayed on LCD.

If the test is carried out, all RAMs and Flash Roms are initialized and set for
ex-factory state.
If this is carried out, it allows the test program to exit, going into play mode.
