2 - TROUBLESHOOTING

All the products undergo stringent inspections during and after manufacturing. If any operating fault does occur,
please check the wire feeder with help of the table below.
FAULT
The wire is fed in
jolts
The welding torch is
heating
D-10
POSSIBLE CAUSE
THE WIRE REEL USED IS NOT
CORRECTLY WOUND
The wire reel is deformed or broken
The wire reel brake is applied too
tightly
The drive rollers are not adapted to
the wire diameter
Wire guide spiral locked or damaged
Contact point hole too small
No control signal
The cooling liquid pipes are not
connected
Cooling liquid level not sufficient
Leak in the cooling circuit
Cooling liquid polluted
REMEDY
Replace the wire reel
Replace the wire reel
CORRECT THE REEL BRAKE
ADJUSTMENT
Compare the wire diameter
indicated on the drive rollers with
that of the selected wire
Clean or replace
Use a contact point that is suited
to the wire diameter
Connect the control unit to the
feeder
Connect the cooling liquid pipes to
the cooling unit
Top up with cooling liquid
Remove the leak and top up with
cooling liquid
Replace! Dispose of the used
cooling liquid in accordance with
the regulations.
