Commissioning and recommissioning
Commissioning must be undertaken by the system
installer or a specialist authorised by the installer.
Also observe the operating instructions of the connec-
ted components.
When the system is cold, the appropriate system filling
pressure must be preset by your contractor depending
on the collector type.

Please note
To prevent damage to the system and the heat
transfer medium,
close the air vent valves after ventilation. This
will prevent the escape of vapour and the
ingress of airborne oxygen.
Insurance
Viessmann solar collectors are tested for impact resist-
ance, for example against hailstones, to EN 12975-2
and EN ISO 9806.
Nevertheless we recommend that the user insures
against extreme weather conditions and includes the
collectors on their buildings insurance. Damage due to
these conditions is excluded from our warranty.

Please note
Excess temperatures can result in damage to
the solar thermal system.
Therefore never switch off the solar thermal sys-
tem in summer, e.g. during a holiday.
