Care and Cleaning
Control Panel
It's a good idea to wipe the control panel after each use
of the oven. Clean with mild soap and water or vinegar
and water, rinse with clean water and polish dry with a
soft cloth.
Lift-Off Oven Door
The oven door is
removable, but it is heavy.
You may need help
removing and replacing the
door. Do not lift the door by
the handle. This can cause
the glass to break or can
cause damage to the door.
To remove the door, open
it a few inches to the
special stop position that
will hold the door open.
Grasp firmly on each side
and lift the door straight up
and off the hinges.
NOTES:
the oven door frame as the hinge could snap back and
pinch fingers.

fingers and chipping the porcelain enamel on the frame.
To replace the door, make sure the hinges are in the
the door squarely over the hinges. Then lower the door
slowly and evenly over both hinges at the same time. If
the hinges snap back against the oven frame, pull them
back out.
Stainless Steel Surfaces
Do not use a steel wool pad; it will scratch the surface.
To clean the stainless steel surface, use warm sudsy
water or a stainless steel cleaner or polish. Always wipe
the surface in the direction of the grain. Follow the cleaner
instructions for cleaning the stainless steel surface.

Lift the door straight up and off

Do not use abrasive cleansers, strong liquid cleaners,
plastic scouring pads or oven cleaners on the control

at the bottom to allow for proper air
circulation.
Do not rub or clean the door
resistance to abrasion.
If you notice the gasket becoming
worn, frayed or damaged in any way
or if it has become displaced on the
door, you should have it replaced.
