Operating Instructions

NOTICE
Risk of damage to the charger.
e Always place the charger on a solid surface when
charging.
e Porsche recommends that the charger be placed
in the basic wall mount during operation.
Depending on the country, e.g. in Switzerland
the charger may only be operated in the basic wall
mount.
f Refer to chapter "Basic Wall Mount" on
page 31.
e Do not immerse the charger in water.
e Protect the charger against snow and ice.
e Protect the charger against potential damage due
to being driven over, dropped, pulled, bent or
crushed.

a qualified specialist workshop. Porsche recommends
a Porsche partner as they have trained workshop
personnel and the necessary parts and tools.
The charger must only be operated within a
temperature range from –30 °C to +50 °C.
Information
– To prevent overheating during operation, avoid
continuous exposure of the charger to direct
sunlight. In the event of overheating of the control
unit, charging is interrupted automatically until
the temperature has returned to the normal
range.
– When driving abroad, always carry the

appropriate supply cable with you for use in the
country you are visiting.
– Different safety concepts with different device
variants are prescribed depending on the country.
Before travelling abroad, ensure that the charger
can also be used in the relevant country. Further
information is available from a qualified specialist
workshop or the power supplier in the particular
location.
