INSTRUMENT LIGHTS

To change a burned out instrument bulb:
1. Move the rubber ring that is around the steering
column up the steering column so that it is tight
against the steering wheel.
2. Remove the rubber plug that is in the hole on the
left side of the dash (the hole that matches the
one where the hand throttle is on the right side).
3. The dash is held to the tractor with simple spring
clips, and can be pulled away from the console
by simply placing one's hands in the holes on
each side of the paneling and pulling upward.
4. Once the dash piece, includes the instrument
panel, is separated, the bulbs on the instrument
panel can be accessed.
5. Rotate the bulb assembly counterclockwise a
quarter turn and remove it from the instrument
panel.
6. Remove the burned out bulb and replace with a
new bulb. Reinsert the bulb assembly into the
back of the panel and turn it clockwise a quarter
turn.
7. Reassemble the panel.
NOTE: Replace with the appropriate bulb: either a
size 758 1.7W bulb for gauge lights, or a size 124
3.4W bulb for indicator lights.
