HOW TO OPERATE SWITCHES TO RECORD A TAPE
WITH "BETA hi-fi" SOUND
1. Set the "Beta hi-fi" switch to "ON" position.

Notes: 1. When the "Beta hi-fi switch i s in "ON"
position, the sound is recorded on both
"Beta hi-fi" tracks and the conven-
tional horizontal monaural track.

When a video camera is connected to
the "VIDEO IN" jack, it defeats the

signal from the tuner.
3. For playback of the "Beta hi-fi" sound
the "OUTPUT" switches should be set
