Displaying Status via ETERNUS CLI
The status of the ETERNUS AF and the usage status of RAID groups, TPPs, and SDPs can be checked by sending
the status display command via ETERNUS CLI.
CLI> show status
Summary Status [Normal]
CLI> show status
Summary Status [Error]
CLI> show status
Summary Status [Warning]
The general status of the ETERNUS AF indicates whether an error status component or a warning status compo-
nent exists in the storage system.

Event Notification

By setting event notification, if an error (event) occurs in the ETERNUS AF, the event information is notified.
The methods that can be used to notify an event are "e-mail", "SNMP Trap", "Syslog", "remote support", and "host
sense".
For the procedure on setting event notification, refer to "Configuration Guide (Basic)".
Description
The ETERNUS AF is under maintenance.
The ETERNUS AF is in warning state.
Description
An undefined or uninstalled component exists in the ETERNUS AF.
The ETERNUS AF is in a normal state.
Pinned data exists in the ETERNUS AF.
An undefined component is installed in the ETERNUS AF.
The ETERNUS AF contains a component that requires preventive maintenance.
The ETERNUS AF is under maintenance.
An error has occurred in a component that is installed in the ETERNUS AF.
The ETERNUS AF is in the BackEnd Down state.
An abnormality is detected and access from the host cannot be received.
The ETERNUS AF cannot be used.
CM hot expansion recovery is required.
