INSTALLATION
CAUTION
The operations described in this manual must only be
performed by qualified specialist personnel.

Arrangement for installation

Refer to the pre-installation sheet provided with the product for the
arrangement of the plumbing and electrical connections and/or to
check their execution.
Check that the following have been provided:
- a system for filling the spa
- connections to the drain well
- installation of a water softener (upstream from the spa) if the
water is very hard
-connection of the electrical box installed on the spa-pak with
the electrical system of the building. The main disconnecting
switch is to be placed in a safe location that is accessible to users.
Also refer to the chapter on connections and electrical safety.
If the spa is installed indoors, remember that water evapo-
ration from the spa can cause very high levels of humidity, es-
pecially if temperatures are very high, even if the thermal cover
is used. Natural or forced ventilation helps to maintain personal
comfort and reduce damage to the building.
Jacuzzi Europe shall not be held liable for any damage caused by
excessive humidity.
It is advisable to provide a drain system under the support
area of the spa which is connected to the main drain. Consid-
ering the large amount of water in the spa, this precaution is
advisable should there be accidental water leakage.
ATTENTION : Jacuzzi® advises against outdoor instal-
lation.

Instructions for installation

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS THOR-
OUGHLY BEFORE INSTALLATION

General warnings

The spa is carefully packed in wood crates that ensure pro-
tection during transport. Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. shall not be
held liable for damage incurred during transport or intermedi-
ate storage. As soon as you receive the spa, it is therefore im-
portant to check that the packaging is in perfect condition and
if not, immediately notify the forwarding agent.
1) Remove the spa from the packaging. Disassemble the
(
front panels (refer to the installation manual for the front pan-
els). Where necessary, also disassemble the parts highlighted in
the figure (detail 4).
Carefully inspect the spa before proceeding with installation,
checking the correct position of the couplings, pipes and clamps
(check that they are not loose).
When choosing the installation site, any obstacles to move-
ment (doors, stairs, etc.) should be taken into account.
1) For all transport operations use only the pallet on
(
which the spa can be placed, while during installation support it
by using only straps of adequate capacity.
If it is not possible to use straps, the spa can be moved by
holding it by the corner supports.
NOTE: this type of movement must be performed with extreme
care and the customer or its representative must assume full
responsibility for it.
Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. accepts no liability for damages caused
by said operation or any other inappropriate handling proce-
dures.
In any case, for all transport and handling, support the spa
only with the belts or by the edge and NEVER by the plumbing
pipes. Always wear protective gloves.

Positioning of the spa

Set the spa on a base that can sustain the load (refer to the pre-
installation instructions).

Plumbing connections

Refer to the pre-installation card for the following connections:
- drain
NOTE: it is possible to reduce the time required to drain the spa by
connection the drain pipe as shown in the pre-installation diagram.
- overflow
NOTE: this connection is obligatory for indoors installation.
Connect to the water mains to fill the spa (as per standard EN 1717).

Electric connections and safety

General warnings
