IF MACHINE STOPS DUE TO OCCURRENCE OF A TROUBLE

Do not attempt corrective action marked with * by yourself.
Otherwise, you could sustain injury. Consult your local TOYOTA dealer for adjustment or other correc-
tive work.
The table below shows examples of machine trouble, its cause and required corrective action.
Loose or broken belt

CAUTION

Cause
Adjust belt tension, or replace the belt.*
Adjust the needle position so that the normal needle
position signal is displayed at the needle position dis-
play column in the LED screen at the operation panel.
Insert the connector securely.*
Adjust belt tension or clean the belt.*
Adjust or replace the rotary hooks and/or needle bar
drive system.*
Adjust the stop position.
Adjust the take-up lever so that it stops at the same
position as other take-up levers.
Needle position signal not detected
Adjust the needle position so that the normal needle
position signal is displayed at the needle position dis-
play column in the LED screen at the operation panel.
Adjust the needle bar drive part set position with the
upper dead point stopper.*
Adjust belt tension.*
Replace/adjust the parts.*
Lower the main shaft rotating speed (r.p.m.) using the
speed adjusting switch.
Replace the drive unit.*
Replace the X-or Y-axis motor.*
Adjust the timing or gap.
Adjust the lower dead point.*
Remove scratches by polishing.
Adjust the tension.*
Correct the embroidery data.
Adjust the take-up lever drive cam timing.*
Adjust the thread trimming knife position.*
