Turn OFF the power switch, and
remove the rear cover. Does the
change solenoid (SL1) turn ON when
the power switch is turned ON?
(Check by the naked eye.)
Are the lens cable, pulley, and rail
normal?
Is the 34V output present at J8-5 on
the composite power supply PCB?
Replace the lens motor. Is the problem
corrected?
Checks
Is 'E000' indicated?
Replace the DC controller PCB. Is the
problem corrected?
Yes/No
Remedy
NO
Check the wiring from the
DC controller to the SL1: if
normal, replace SL1.
NO
Check the lens cable, pulley,
and rail; as necessary, clean
or re-route the cable.

See "DC power is absent."
NO
Replace the DC controller
