STARTUP DESCRIPTIONS
• When the unit is first powered ON, a 500 Hz power up tone will sound for 100 ms unless KEY TONES
are OFF.
• The LCD will display all Icons except ATIS for 2 seconds on USA models.
• The LCD will display all Icons including ATIS for 2 seconds on EU models.
• All buttons are inoperative during this 2 second period.
• After the 2 second period the display will turn ON only the appropriate Icons
depending on last used condition.
Default startup settings USA:
• Marine Channel 16
• Power level - High
• Key tones are ON
• ROG Beep is OFF
• Channel map set to "U" for USA channels
• WX Alert is OFF
• WX channel "01" (WX mode)
• Clear all memory channels to "- -"
• DW memory channel 01 = VHF channel 16, memory channel
• 02 = VHF channel 09.
Default startup settings EU:
• Marine Channel 16
• Power level - High
• Key tones are ON
• ROG Beep is OFF
• Channel map set to "I" for INT channels
• Clear all memory channels to "- -"
• DW memory channel 01 = VHF channel 16, memory channel
Factory Default reset key press: - DW / Scan key and MEM/ Esc key together.
PC reprogramming mode key press: - DW / Scan key and Hi-Lo / WX key together.
