Installing a module

Install the Slim Select Bay HDD adaptor as described below.
1. Insert the Slim Select Bay HDD adaptor in the computer as shown below and
press until the ejector clicks.
2. If you want to lock the Slim Select Bay module, set the screw of the Slim Select
Bay lock in the back hole.

Using optical media drives

The text and illustrations in this section refer primarily to the DVD-ROM drive.
However, operation is the same for the CD-ROM drive, CD-R/RW drive and
CD-RW/DVD-ROM drives. The full-size drive provides high-performance execution
of DVD-ROM-based programs. You can run either 12 cm (4.72") or 8 cm (3.15")
compact disks/digital versatile disks without an adaptor. An ATAPI interface
controller is used for CD-ROM operation. When the computer is accessing a
DVD-ROM, an LED on the drive glows.
