2.4 Hardware Set-up
This section shows how to set up the hardware for the MB89P935A OTP board:

Software Requirement:

The following components are necessary:
-
Fujitsu Micro's MCU CD-ROM V3.0 or higher
-
PC with Windows3.1x or higher.
-
Sample application programs for MB89930A series.
-
OTP programming utility
3.2

Software Installation

i)
Insert the Fujitsu CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive and install the Softune
Workbench for 8-bit Microcontroller.
ii)
Install the OTP programming utility.
iii)
Install the sample program for MB89930A series.

Running the Sample program
i)
Make the Hardware set up as shown in figure 1.
ii)
Configure the jumpers J1, J2, J3, J4, J5, J6 and J7 as shown in table 1, depending
on the serial cable (RS232 or Yokogawa).
iii)
Put the MB89P935A OTP chip on the socket,( be sure the power is switched off
before inserting the device).
iv)
Connect an external +5V power supply to the board and power up the board
(Check the green power LED).
v)
Compile the sample program and start the OTP programming utility. Select the
COM port and hit the download button.
vi)
After programming is done, change the jumper setting to the normal mode.
vii)
If you wait for a while (not necessary), your programmed application will start
executing.
