common operational commands such as Apply, Refresh, and Help
• 4 work area—the main area on the right side of the window that displays the dialog boxes
where you view or configure switch parameters

Navigation tree

The navigation tree displays available command topics as folders in a tree, as described in the
table below.

Use the selections in the Administration folder to perform the
following functions:
• Quick Start — sets up IP/Community/VLAN
• Remote Access — enables or disables Telnet, SNMP,
Web Page, and SSH
• MIB Web Page — performs a MIB Walk
Rediscover Device — Use the Rediscover Device selection
to refresh the session.
All existing tabs are lost.
