Using GAP-standard compliance

The GAP standard guarantees that all models of DECT GAP handsets and base stations comply with a
minimum operating standard.
Your ONIS 200 HANDSET and BASE STATION comply with this standard.
To use your ONIS 200 HANDSET with a
GAP-standard base station that is a different
model, first follow the procedure described in
the manufacturer's operating instructions, then

continue from step
to add an ONIS 200 HANDSET described on
page 41.
To add another handset model to your ONIS
200 BASE STATION, switch the ONIS 200
BASE STATION off and on, then follow the pro-
cedure described in the manufacturer's instruc-
tions.
L NOTE:
Minimum functions available to ONIS 200 HANDSETS and/or BASE STATIONS registered with different-model handsets and
base stations are: obtaining a line, receiving a call and dialling.

Configuring line settings

Dial mode

This function allows you to choose the dial mode: "Tone" or "Pulse" (decadic dialling).
Go to "Dial mode" under the "Line settings"

in the "Settings" menu and select OK|.
Scroll to select the dial mode you want and

select OK|.
If you intend to connect your extension through a PABX, you can change the following two parameters.
