Power Windows
Switch group for power windows:
1 left, front
2 left, rear
3 right, front
4 right, rear
5 safety switch
6 individual switches (rear doors)
The power windows can be operated
with the key in steering lock position
1 or 2.
All four windows can then be operated
using the switches in the center
console. The rear door windows can
also be operated using the
switches (6) in each rear door panel.
If inadvertent operation of the rear
windows (for instance by children)
is to be prevented, push safety
switch (5) to the right (symbol
becomes visible).
Warning!
When leaving the vehicle, always
remove the key from the steering
lock. Do not leave children
unattended in the vehicle. Unsu­
pervised use of vehicle equip­
ment can cause serious personal
injury.
Shelf below Rear Window
Warning!
The shelf below the rear window
should not be used to carry
objects. This will prevent such
objects from being thrown about
and injuring vehicle occupants
during an accident or sudden
maneuver.
