Cup holder (type A)
To use the cup holder, push it and pull
out copletely.
The cup holder is designed for holding
cups or drink-cans fit snugly in its holes.
CAUTION
!
S Do not place anything else on the
cup holder, as such items may be
thrown about in the compartment
and possibly injure people in the
vehicle during sudden braking or
an accident.
S Keep the cup holder shut when not
in use.

Cup holder (type B)
To use the cup holder, unfold the cov-
er.
The cup holder is designed for holding
cups or drink-cans fit snugly in its holes.
CAUTION
!
S Do not place anything else on the
cup holder, as such items may be
thrown about in the compartment
and possibly injure people in the
vehicle during sudden braking or
an accident.
S Keep the cup holder folded up
when not in use.
Roof luggage carrier
(with moon roof)
To use a roof luggage carrier, you must
fit the genuine Toyota roof rails with
two or more crossrails or their equiva-
lent.
Following the manufacturer's instructions
and precautions when installing the roof
rails and crossrails or their equivalent.
NOTICE
When you load cargo on the roof
luggage carrier, observe the follow-
ing precautions to prevent acci-
dents and damage to your vehicle.
z Do not exceed 100 kg (220 lb.) car-
go weight on the roof rails. How-
ever, in the
allowable cargo
weight of the cross rails in under
100 kg (220 lb.) observe the load
limit and other instructions for the
cross rails.
z Plase the cargo so that its weight
is distributed evenly between the
front and rear axles.
z If loading long or wide cargo, nev-
er exceed the vehicle overall
length or width. (See "Dimen-
sions" in Part 8 for information on
your vehicle overall length and
width.)
