Printing
If the optional Color UFR II/PCL/PS Printer Kit is available for
use, you can upgrade this machine to a high-speed network
printer. This kit incorporates UFR II (Ultra Fast Rendering
II) Technology, which utilizes a newly invented printing
algorithm to minimize file processing and achieve maximum
performance. It also supports PCL at maximized speed and
enables the machine to support PostScript 3 emulation
printing function.
Alternatively, installing the optional imagePRESS Server
(PS controller) enables you to use the machine, not only as
a PostScript printer when loaded with Adobe PostScript 3
software, but also as an emulation printer of PCL5c.
imagePRESS Server is an optional PS (PostScript) controller
that is attached to the back of the machine. It can efficiently
output various data types, such as large and complex files
(which combine graphics, photos, and text), Adobe PostScript
3 files, detailed graphics, etc.
