Connecting to Your Computer

In order to download stored images, the ePhoto 1680 must be con-
nected to a computer using the serial cable provided.
To connect the camera to your computer:
1. Plug the jack at one end of the serial cable into the SERIAL port
on your camera.
2. Depending on your operating system:
Plug the other end of the cable into a serial port on
your computer.
Connect the other end of the cable to the Mac adapter
cable provided. Then plug the end of the adapter into
your Mac's printer or modem port.

Downloading Images into Your Computer

The Agfa PhotoWise software included with your ePhoto 1680 is
used to download images from your camera to a computer and then
to edit your digital images.
For detailed information on using PhotoWise, see the pdf
file PhotoWise Tips or on-line help in PhotoWise.
Photos taken using the highest resolution setting (
special processing step called Agfa PhotoGenie.
PhotoGenie processing for true 1680 resolution (1600 x
1200 pixels) is available only through PhotoWise.
