640 x 480 pixels: normal compression (ideal for post-
ing images on the Web)
Maximum 4 MB card capacity: 48 images*
Black & white text mode: optimal compression for sav-
ing text-based documents
Maximum 4 MB card capacity: 12 images*
* Depending on the complexity of the images stored, the memory
card capacity may be up to 20% higher.

Flash

The ePhoto 1680 provides the following flash settings:
Setting
Automatic: flash is used automatically as determined
by the camera
Fill-in: flash is always used
Off: no flash is used
Red-eye: controlled pre-flashing is used to reduce the
"red-eye" effect

Digital Zoom

The ePhoto 1680 is equipped with a digital zoom feature. Using this
feature, you can zoom into the center of the picture to create a 640 x
480 pixel image.
