5.0 Assembly
NB: The base must be leveled. Max. 1 mm/m tolerance. This is
extremely important to ensure that the rest of the installation is
correct.
Important!
Please note that rough handling may damage the soapstones.
The mounting brackets should be attached with care. Installation
should be carried out by a qualifi ed person.
Useful tools for installation.
Spirit level, Allen key, ruler, cap wrench, rubber mallet, hammer
and screwdriver.

6.0 Installation

for the Jøtul I 520 (Cat. no. 10046405) for use and
maintenance of the product!
6.1 Maintenance
Maintenance work must only be performed when the fi replace
is completely cold.
Soapstone: Scratches on the surface can be rubbed away using
fi ne sandpaper. Deeper scratches in the stone can be fi lled
using a paste made of powdered soapstone and water glass.

8.0 Recycling
8.1 Recycling the packaging
Your fi replace is delivered with the following packaging:
•
A wooden pallet that can be cut up and burned in the
fi replace.
•
Cardboard packaging that should be taken to a local
recycling facility.
•
Plastic bags that should be taken to a local recycling facility.
8.2 Recycling the fi replace
The fi replace is made of:
•
Metal that should be taken to a local recycling facility.
•
Glass that should be disposed of as hazardous waste. The
glass in the fi replace must not be placed in a regular source
segregation container.
•
Vermiculite burn plates that can be disposed of in regular
waste containers.
