10.4 Switching on/off (Fig. 10.4)
To switch the drive system on and off, use the button (A1)
on the battery. After switching on, the individual LEDs
of the battery capacity display light up yellow one after
another and then remain lit up or go off, depending on the
level of charge.
You do not need to open the back pack to reach this
button (A1). The battery can be switched on and off
through the transparent viewing window.
A1
Attention: The on/off switch is also the emergency stop
switch. It must therefore always be freely accessible.
WARNING!
When the wheelchair is parked, the battery must always
be switched off!
CAUTION!
Before using for the first time, the battery should be fully
charged.
WARNING!
The surface temperature of the charger can rise to 49°C
during charging.
10.5 Operating the LED display (Fig. 10.5)
The display contains LED displays for the battery charge
status, LED displays for the 3 drive levels and 2 operating

10.6 Operating the pressure switch (Fig. 10.6)
Pressing the pushbutton
(1) will activate the pushing
device and it will drive at
the set maximum speed for
as long as the pushbutton
is being pressed. When you
let go, the pushing device is
deactivated.
Attention: The pushing device is not a braking aid. The
wheelchair must be braked by the attendant. This is why
we recommend drum brakes.
WARNING!
The pushbutton must never be locked in position!!
If the pushing device is switched on, each time the
pushbutton is pressed, the pulse is converted into a
drive command. You should therefore make sure that
the pushbutton is not pressed unintentionally. Switch the
pushing device off when stopping or waiting at potential
hazardous areas (e.g. while waiting for a pedestrian
traffic light, on uphill and downhill gradients or on ramps
of any type) and take your hands off the pushbutton.
