1. intended use

The panel meter is allowed a pre-circuit for a direct-current voltage of +40 V
max., or a current measuring from –20 until +20 A. The metered values for
voltage, current and power are indicated in an illuminated way and double-
spaced in a LC-display at the same time. The current measuring is carried out
in a galvanic and separate way. Currents in the range of –20 to +20 A can
be measured. The panel meter is therefore entirely appropriate for the use of
regulated power supply, charging devices and solar heating systems.
– The panel meter must not be operated without being fitted in a case, a
console panel, a tableau or similar.
– Operation outdoors is not allowed.
– Protect against humidity and wet conditions
A different use beyond this, will be considered as unspecified. The user/
operator will be exclusively liable for the damage resulting from this.

2. safety

When handling electrical devices using all valid VDE regulations must be ob-
served, in particular VDE 0100, VDE 0550/0551, VDE 0700, VDE 0711 and
VDE 0860.
– This measuring component must not be used in installations of over-voltage
category according to IEC 664. The measuring component is not protected
against electric arc explosions ((IEC 1010-2-031, paragraph 13.101).
– Measuring devices must be kept away from children!
– In commercial facilities regulations for the prevention of accidents of the
association of commercial and industrial workers' compensation insurance
carriers for electric equipment and machinery materials must be considered.
– In schools, training facilities, hobby and self help shops the operation of the
measuring device must be supervised responsibly by trained staff
– When opening coverings or removing parts, unless this is possible by hand,
live parts might be exposed. There might be connecting points that are still
live. Before an alignment, maintenance, repair or an exchange of parts or
components, the device must be separated from the power supply units and
measuring circuits, if the opening of the device is required. If an adjustment,
