Restore network related settings to their initial status.

Panel Lock Out Mode

You can restrict the use of buttons on the control panel by using the Panel Lock Out Mode.

Changing the Panel Lock Out Mode setting

You can turn lock out mode on, off, or change locked functions from lock out setting mode.
You can select the printer functions to be locked while the Panel Lock Out Mode is on according to
your needs.
Note:
❏ You can also change lock out mode settings from the Printer Settings utility in the printer driver. See
"Changing printer setting" on page 72.
Follow these steps to change the lock out mode setting:
1. Make sure the printer is turned off.
Caution:
!
Whenever you turn off the printer, wait at least five seconds before turning it back on;
otherwise, you may damage the printer.
2. Turn on the printer while holding down both the LF/FF and Pause buttons.
The printer enters the lock out setting mode and you can access the lock out setting menu.
3. If you want to print the current settings, select Print All Settings. To print out, you need A4 or
letter size single sheet paper or continuous paper that is at least 210 mm (8.3 inches) wide. See
"Loading Continuous Paper" on page 38 and "Loading Single Sheets" on page 45 for
instructions on loading continuous paper and single sheets.
