Job Information Screen
Your printer can display job information when it receives print jobs in Windows. You can enter a
short note in the printer driver as a Driver Note which allows you to identify the print job. See "Printer
Driver Settings Overview" on page 62.
The information or message displayed may differ depending on the print data sent from the Windows
application.
1 The information icon indicates that information is available.
2 Printer driver settings such as the following are displayed.
User Name
Driver Note*
Paper Size
Paper Source
3 Displays available buttons and controls.
* If the Driver Note check box has been cleared in the printer driver, the document name is displayed instead.
Note:
The job information screen is useful if you want to pause the printer before you start printing by selecting
a Paper Source setting that ends with (check paper). This allows you to check the paper or pre-printed
form that will be used for your print job. See "Printer Driver Settings Overview" on page 62.
