This chapter provides information on the rotary servo motor specifications and characteristics. If using the HG-KNS series
rotary servo motor, read chapters 1 to 5 and the Safety Instructions at the front of this manual in addition to this chapter.

*3 Except for the shaft-through portion. IP classifies the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects and water in
electrical enclosures.
*4 The vibration directions are shown in the following figure. The value is the one at the part that indicates the maximum value (normally
the opposite to load-side bracket). When the rotary servo motor stops, fretting is likely to occur at the bearing. Therefore, suppress the
vibration to about half of the permissible value.
