Changing the Focusing Area

You can change the autofocus area (Focusing Area).

Press the MENU button in Capture mode.
The [A Rec.Mode] menu appears.

to select [Focusing Area].

The pull-down menu appears.

monitor (within the focusing area) and focuses on the

nearest subject.
The camera narrows a range (the focusing area) to
measure and makes it easier for you to focus on a

specific subject.
