Manual Setting

Select [ ] (manual) on the white
balance screen.

Point your camera at a blank sheet
of paper so that it fills the screen.

Press the Display button.
The white balance is automatically
adjusted, [Adjust] is displayed on
the LCD monitor and the display
returns to the menu screen.

Press the OK button.
The camera is ready to take the picture.

Changing the AF Area (Focusing Area)

You can change the angle of the autofocus area.
Multiple Normal range
The autofocus range becomes smaller. (Spot)

Select [Focusing Area] on the
[ Rec.Mode] menu.

Use the four-way controller (
to change the setting.

Press the OK button.
The camera is ready to take the
picture.
The AF area does not appear in the viewfinder. Always check
memo
the focusing area on the LCD monitor.
