Chapter 1. Logging on to the 3708
This chapter describes the 3708 logon screens and gives instructions for logging on to
the 3708.
It
also lists error messages that may be displayed.
Things to Know Before Logging on
There are four logon screens:
Cl - Port Password
C2 - Terminal Type
C3 - Host Selection
C4 - Logon Indication.
Depending on how the 3708 is configured, you may see these logon screens displayed
in their full or short screen formats. The 3708 configuration also determines how
many of the screens you see. You may see all, none, or only some of the logon
screens.
Full Screen Format and Operation
When you log on to the 3708, you might see full screens like this:
