CAUTION
If the passenger's front air bag
ON/OFF switch malfunctions, the
passenger's front air bag OFF indica‐
tor will not illuminate (The passeng‐
er's front air bag ON indicator comes
on and goes off after approximately
60 seconds) and the passenger's
front air bag will inflate in a frontal
impact even if the passenger's front
air bag ON/OFF switch is set to the
OFF position.
In this case, have the passenger's
front air bag ON/OFF switch and the
SRS air bag system inspected by a
professional workshop.
Kia recommends to visit an author‐
ized Kia dealer/service partner.

The SRS consists of the following com‐
ponents:

The SRSCM continually monitors all SRS
components while the is ON to deter‐
