A settings file (".SET") just contains values from the
Settings menu. See the note on page 50.
• [O ] - change the offset. Use the cursors to move
FFSET
the vertical position of the trace on the screen.
[O ] is equivalent to [V
FFSET
OTDR Mode.
• [C ] - return to Applications Screen, as in the OTDR
LOSE
Mode popup panel option.
• [E ] - show or hide the Event Table. Equivalent to
VENTS
[V ]<E T > in OTDR mode. See "How to Use
IEW VENT ABLE
the Event Table" on page 89.
• [F S ] - view the trace from the start. This hides
ROM TART
the Event Table, turns all level markers off, sets the
trace offset to auto and displays the Full Trace.
Use the cursor keys to move to the function you require,
and press S again to select it.

Getting Help

To get help on the Mini-OTDR you press the help key ? to
activate the online documentation. The key can be found
in the lower right-hand corner of the instrument
Press S to see the Help screen of the item currently

highlighted. Alternatively, cursor right to Index, and
select one of the listed screen.
