Step 6 -- Position
and Connect
Controller
Controllers
are ordered separately.
Wired
controllers
should
be installed
in a position
that
maintains good temperature
control:
•
Position
the thermostat
approximately
48 in. above floor
level.
•
Do not position
thermostat
where
it can be
directly
affected
by the unit's discharge
airstream.
•
Avoid external walls and drafts from window
and doors.
•
Avoid
positioning
near shelves
and
curtains
as these
restrict air movement.
•
Avoid heat sources
such as direct sunlight,
heaters,
dim-
mer switches,
and other electrical
devices.
WIRELESS
REMOTE
CONTROLLER
-- Before
installa-
tion, operate the remote controller to determine the appropriate
location for reception range. Be sure the remote controller is at
least 3.25 ft away from electronic
equipment
such as a televi-
sion or stereo
system
to avoid cross-interference
or distur-
bance.
Avoid direct sunlight exposure or heating
sources. Use
proper mounting
screws and controller
bracket
to mount the
controller
holder on the wall (see Fig 13). For setup instruc-
tions, refer to the controller installation
manual.
