Replacing the supply unit DC fuses

WARNING!
Read the safety instructions given in Safety instructions for ACS880
liquid-cooled multidrive cabinets and modules (3AXD50000048633
[English]). If you ignore them, injury or death, or damage to the equipment
can occur.
WARNING!
Wear protective gloves and long sleeves. Some parts have sharp edges.
1. Repeat the steps described in section
you start the work.
2. Open the door of the module cubicle.
3. Remove the shrouding in front of the fuses (if any).
4. Check the condition of the fuses. In case of a blown fuse, replace all fuses with similar
fuses: slacken the nuts of the fuses and pull the fuses out. Do not unscrew the nuts
completely, not to drop them inside the module(s) below. Tighten the nuts first by hand
or applying maximum 5 N·m force. Tightening torques for M12 nuts are 50 N·m (37 lbf·ft)
for Bussmann fuses, and 46 N·m (34 lbf·ft) for Ferraz Shawmut fuses.
5. Attach the shrouding (if any) and close the door.

Fans

The life span of the cooling fan depends on the running time of the fan, ambient temperature
and dust concentration. See the firmware manual for the actual signal which indicates the
running time of the cooling fan. Reset the running time signal after fan replacement.
Replacement fans are available from ABB. Do not use other than ABB specified spare parts.
