Pocket Verifier Addendum for the TRĒO 700W
Introduction
With the introduction of the TREO 700, Pocket Verifier has been enhanced to make use
of its Windows Mobile 5 Operating System, QWERTY Keyboard, Wireless
Communications, and Bluetooth capability.
This addendum expands on the Pocket Verifier User Guide and Tutorial. We recommend
that you use the Pocket Verifier User Guide and Tutorial for Pocket PC in order to
become familiar with the many features that Pocket Verifier has to offer.
In addition, while Pocket Verifier was designed to be to immediately work with your
TREO 700 and Pocket Spectrum Bluetooth Printer, we've also included detailed setup
and trouble shooting information towards the end of this addendum, should you have
changed the default Connection Settings on your TREO 700.

    Pocket Verifier Installation Please follow the installation information found in the Pocket Verifier User Guide and Tutorial. If you are asked to choose a location where to install the software please choose the default location (Device). You may also ignore any warnings that appear and select YES or INSTALL to continue.

    Setting Up Pocket Spectrum There are only four simple steps for setting up the Pocket Spectrum to work with the Verizon TREO700. They are: 1. Resetting your Pocket Spectrum to allow pairing 2. Pairing the Pocket Spectrum with your Handheld TREO Device 3.

Thus, in order to use Pocket Verifier, you must have a data plan already setup with Verizon. When the phone is on, the number of vertical bars to the left of the antenna indicates the strength of the signal. These are the data access icons.
