The arithmetic operators, in order of

precedence, are as follows:

Exponentiation

Multiplication

Integer Division

Modulus Arithmetic

Sample Expression

To change the order in which the operations

are performed, use parentheses. Operations

within parentheses are performed first. Within

the parentheses, the usual order of operations

is maintained.
