Variable Types

AND OPERATORS

An expression may be a string or numeric

constant, a variable, or a combination of

constants and variables with operators. An

expression always produces a single value.

Operators perform mathematical or logical

operations on values. The GWBASIC

operators may be divided into four categories:

• Arithmetic

• Rslational

• Functional

Each category is described in the following

subsections.
