is a string expression identifying the new directory which is
to be the current directory

Assuming that the diskette in drive B has the
directory structure illustrated above, to change
the current directory from ROOT to
ACCOUNTING enter:
CHDIR "B:\ACCOUNTING"
ACCOUNTING is now the current directory
on drive B. To change the current directory
from ACCOUNTING to ANDY enter:
CHDIR "ANDY"
