Chapter 2 Useful Features
(c)-4 Operation for Physical Device
Operation for Physical Device of the Virtual Drive can be performed. Place a cursor on the Physical Device
to be operated, and then press the <F2> key.
<1> Rebuild
Perform the Rebuild function for the selected Physical Device.
You can perform the Rebuild when the redundant Virtual Drive is in the Degrade or Partially Degrade status
after replacing the dead Physical Device with a new one.

Suspend
Resume
Stop
<2> Copyback
Unsupported.
<3> Locate
Turns the disk status lamp ON (blink) or OFF.
Select "Start" for turning it ON (blink) or "Stop" for OFF.
Whether the disk status lamp lights up or blinks by selecting "Start" depends on the server or on the Disk
Expansion Unit.

Starts the Rebuild for the Physical Device.
Suspends the Rebuild being performed in the Physical Device.
Resumes the suspended Rebuild in the Physical Device.
Stops the Rebuild being performed or suspended in the Virtual Drive.
Tips
For details about the Rebuild, refer to Chapter 2 (4.1.3 (4) Manual Rebuild).
