10. Jog wheel
The following functions can be controlled by using the Jog wheel:
* Pitch Bend
* VINYL / Scratch
* Brake time
* KEY SHIFT control
* Preset menus [SHIFT + Jog Wheel]
* Effect parameters
* Program edit
* Track memory number select
* Search (in Paused mode)
11. OPEN/CLOSE [RESET] Button
Opens and closes the appropriate tray. When DIRECT mode is off (in preset menu) and disc is being played back, these
buttons cannot be used.
Pressing and holding the SHIFT button then pressing this button clears all track memories and initializes the preset
menu.
12. SHIFT Button
The SHIFT button is a modifier button. Any button outlined with a silver border or box has a shift function / feature. This
feature is written above or below the button itself. Holding SHIFT while pressing another button performs the following
functions:
SHIFT + OPEN/CLOSE
= [RESET]:
Clears the all track memories and initializes the preset menu.
SHIFT + CTN/SGL
= [PROGRAM]:
SHIFT + TIME/ENTER
= [RECALL DISPLAY]:
SHIFT + PITCH RANGE
= [BANK]:
Selects the memory bank for the track memory (A-E).
SHIFT + MEMORY/CUE
= [MEMO INS]:Enters the track memory store mode.
SHIFT + LOOP
= [REPEAT DEL]:
SHIFT + PLAY/PAUSE
= [RELAY PLAY]:
SHIFT + CUE
= [AUTO CUE]:
SHIFT + JOG: Enters preset menu mode.

13. LCD
Displays visual feedback for C.503 functions.
14. SELECT Buttons
Use these to perform track searches (next / previous) track. Search from track to track, either forward (up arrow) or back-
ward (down arrow) with these buttons.
Enters the program edit mode and program play mode.
Selects the parameter display mode and enters the track memory recall mode.
Selects the repeat play mode and deletes tracks while in memory mode.
Toggles the RELAY PLAY function on and off.
Toggles the AUTO CUE function on and off.
