Support
the
motorcycle
using safety stand or
a hoist.

Turn
the
ignition
switch
OFF
and disconnect
the battery
ground

terminal.

When
removing
the engine, be
careful
not to pinch the
wire
harnesses
between
the engine
and
frame.

Note
the
direction of
the engine
mounting
bolts.

Install
all
engine
mounting
bolts
and
nuts
loosely,
then
tighten the
nuts to the
specified torque.
